- Renal pelvis, ureters, bladder
- Transitional cell cancer of bladder, ureters and/or renal pelvis
- Hx smoking→ transitional cell ca
- Squamous cell if chronic catheter, hx schistosomiasis, or chronic foreign body (rare)
- Persistent gross blood (more blood, more suggestive cancer)
- Urinary urgency and frequency (bladder)
- Pain if clots, retention
- Rarely mass (renal, bladder) from primary or metastasis
- Typically no overt findings on exam
- Microscopic Urine Analysis: blood > 3 RBC/HPF; Urine Cx (if concern about infection),; Creatinine
- Structural evaluation of Urinary Tract w/CT urogram (kidneys, ureters) and cystosopy (bladder)
