Etiology

  • Unusual neuroendocrine tumor based in pancreas
  • Associated w/MEN1 (rare): hyper-parathyroidism, pancreas (gastrin, VIP, insulin) and pituitary (GH, Prolactin) producing tumors

Risk Factors

  • Age 30-50
  • F > m

Symptoms

  • Watery dairrhea
  • Secretory→ doesnt respond to fasting, noctural sx, cramping, wt loss
