Etiology

  • Felt to be related to lymphatic obstruction
  • Associated w/lymphedema in 80% of cases
  • Travels with a number of chronic lung problems, including bronchiectasis, pleural effusion, sinusitis; also nephrotic syndrome, malignancies, autoimmune disorders and other.

Physical Exam Findings

  • Yellow colored nail plate
  • Typically affect all fingers.
