Symptoms

  • Common, chronic, nail infection
  • More common in toes than fingers

Physical Exam Findings

  • Non tender
  • Nail appears thickened, opaque and deformed/ragged
  • Predilection for ends/edges, but can affect entire nail
  • Can cause onycholysis→ separation of nail from bed
