- Some malignancies incite anti-body responses that target nerves
- Associated most commonly with small cell lung or breast cancer
- Also lymphoma, myeloma, MGUS
- Neuropathy is often painful
- May also cause ataxia related to impaired sensation

- Symptoms related to primary/underlying cancer
- May have decreased peripheral sensation, pain w/touch
- Impaired reflexes
- Sometimes weakness, sensory ataxia
